Product details

Excessive content of phosphate (P) can cause eutrophication of water bodies, leading to excessive proliferation of algae and damaging the aquatic ecological environment. It is one of the important indicators for detecting water quality in surface water, groundwater, and wastewater.

Low range phosphate water quality detection reagentIn order to eliminate the tedious operation of preparing reagents and testing processes for users, and improve detection efficiency, the phosphate reagent based on ammonium molybdate spectrophotometry (GB11893-89) is introduced. It is easy and fast to operate, has strong anti-interference ability, and low testing cost, and can meet the requirements of batch, rapid, and accurate determination of various water qualities.

Testing precautions

Low range phosphate water quality detection reagentmatters needing attention

1. For more accurate testing, the blank value of each new batch of reagents should be measured. The determination of reagent blank is also carried out according to the testing steps, except that the sample is replaced with pure water for testing. Subtract the blank value of the reagent from the final test result;

2. If the content is higher than the reagent range, the measured value can only be used to estimate the dilution factor and cannot be used as a test result. After diluting the sample, retest;

3. This reagent has strong anti-interference ability against various metal ions, but the total arsenic in the sample will cause significant positive interference to the sample testing. If the sample to be tested contains total arsenic, sample pretreatment should be carried out before testing;

4. The triangular positioning mark on the colorimetric tube should be aligned with the positioning mark on the instrument during zeroing and reading;

5. The test waste liquid contains heavy metals such as molybdenum and antimony, as well as moderate concentrations of sulfuric acid. Personal protective measures should be taken during the experiment, and hands should be washed with clean water after the test is completed;

6. Phosphate testing waste liquid should not be poured into the sewer. It should be collected uniformly and disposed of properly.
